I got this book from a used bookstore. I read Year of the Flood before this book, because I didn't know that the two went together. I understood both of them fine. The two books are about roughly the same time period, and have a few of the same characters. As with every other book by Margaret Atwood, I really liked this book. I think I enjoyed Year of the Flood a little bit better.
